Vaccinations are pushed by the news media and other so-called experts as the miracle cure to a variety of conditions, but have you ever examined the science for yourself?
Would the very suggestion that vaccinations are harmful incite anger inside of you, causing you to dismiss this article as hogwash? If vaccinations are truly the silver bullet against deadly diseases, and their safety is indeed based upon concrete science, then there should be no fear as to investigating the matter further.

Why then, is mainstream media along with many medical establishments refusing to discuss the science behind vaccinating to a proficient degree?
You could argue that it’s “so stupid that they don’t want to waste their time on it”, but if that were the case then why are so many doctors exposing the health hazards of vaccines? Even if it so so stupid that it made absolutely no sense, wouldn’t the mainstream media pick it up to get higher ratings?
Wouldn’t the “loonies” bring some viewers to their station, to laugh at their “insanity”...?

Student Suspended And Assaulted For Handing Out ANTI-VACCINE Flyers

The flyers consisted of simple medical studies that disprove vaccine safety claims by the CDC. On December 16th Breckenridge High School was holding a free vaccination clinic for all willing students, I signed up on the 14th and intended to enter the science room to hand out educational flyers.

When I began handing them out I was physically pushed around by my principal, this didn’t stop me from handing out many more flyers to the waiting students, some of which changed their mind and began to leave the line. After being threatened with arrest and removal from school property, I went back to class.
When I was dismissed at 1:30 I ran back to the clinic. After being physical blocked by a public health official I slid under her arm and began peacefully offering nurses more information. This is when my science teacher Scott Wermerskirchen Assaulted me by pushing, bumping, grabbing, and aggressively ‘bearhugging’ me in an attempt to get my video camera.
The whole altercation was captured on multiple security cameras and seen by over 20 witnesses. The school is refusing to release any video footage, and has not taken action against this teacher. However, the punishment for handing out flyers was a 2 day out of school suspension which was issued to me. This is ludicrous unjust and downright fascist.

Kids Offered Pizza For Taking Swine Flu Shot

(WXYZ) - The Detroit Health Department is fighting swine flu with pepperoni. When kids return to school after the holiday break, each class has the opportunity to get a free pizza party – if they sign up for the shots.
It’s a simple fact--kids don’t like vaccinations – even when they can get them in a spray.
Their parents, like Leslie Ethridge however, are often eager to get their kids protected, “Your children get 20 some odd inoculations, this is just another one, so if it’s available you should get the shot.”
But when Detroit schools – both public and private-- sent home permission slips for students to get H1N1 vaccine at school, the return rate was only about ten percent.
Dr. Walter Davis, Detroit Pandemic Flu Coordinator, told us, “talking to principals and some parents we find that a lot of them are never receiving consent forms.”
The Detroit Health Department has already been working especially hard to get the vaccine into the community.
For instance, today parents attending the Christmas program at the Foreign Language Immersion School on Outer Drive had the chance to get shots for themselves and their children before or after the program....

Sanofi-Pasteur Removes Thimerosal Free Vaccine from Market

On December 15, 2009 the CDC released a statement announcing the recall of 800,000 doses of H1N1 vaccine from the market. This was a story that should have received widespread coverage in the national media but, instead, largely died out at the local news level. Although some local stations made the recall their top story, many simply reported it as if it were no big deal and mentioned nothing else about it in subsequent broadcasts. Yet you would think that the recall of close to 1 million vaccines would spark the national interest, especially when the vaccines are for a “pandemic” that was initially supposed to kill hundreds of thousands of Americans and disrupt the entire society.
If one chooses to believe the hype about H1N1 then he/she should be quite worried about the reasons given for the recall – that it is not potent enough. The fact that the company who manufactures the vaccine is Sanofi-Pasteur is also significant because Sanofi-Pasteur made a similar mistake with the H5N1 vaccine in 2006. At the time, H5N1 was the virus that was supposed to kill us all. It seems that the lack of potency issue is a recurring theme with this particular company demonstrating, at best, a dangerous level of incompetence...

Silicon Valley officials: Flu vaccine given to kids was safe despite recall

Federal health officials Tuesday recalled 800,000 doses of an H1N1 vaccine geared for young children, affecting 900 doses used by Santa Clara County, and an unknown number used by other valley health care providers such as Kaiser Permanente.
The recall is for the shots used for children ages 6 months to 3 years old, made by Sanofi Pasteur, which did a quality control test and found some of the vaccine doses weren't strong enough.
Santa Clara County used those particular doses at free clinics held at the county fairgrounds Dec. 6 and 12, and at the California Children's Services clinic on Empey Way in San Jose. Kaiser also received some of the recalled doses.

Flu Exposes Weaknesses in U.S. Biopreparedness, Report Finds

The spread of the H1N1 flu virus through the United States this year revealed that the nation's medical care system remains ill-prepared to handle the intensive demands that could develop from acts of bioterrorism or other major health crises, warns an annual report published yesterday (see GSN, June 8).
"The H1N1 outbreak ... vividly demonstrated the existing gaps in public health preparedness. Decades of chronic underfunding of public health meant that many of the core systems that would have been invaluable to have in place during an emergency were not at-the ready when H1N1 emerged," the document asserts.
From fiscal years 2008 and 2009, 27 states "disproportionately" cut their public health budgets in response to the economic crisis, says the report, "Ready or Not? Protecting the Public's Health from Disease, Disasters and Bioterrorism."
"Federal funding for public health emergency preparedness and hospital preparedness has declined 27 percent since [fiscal] 2005 when adjusted for inflation. While additional funding has been provided to respond to emergencies, this is less effective than ongoing support for preparedness," states the document prepared by the Trust for America's Health, a nonpartisan think tank, and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.
Most states have failed to develop plans for accommodating the massive influx of hospital patients that could follow a biological attack, the report concludes (see GSN, Jan. 29). In addition, the nation lacks a "federal clearinghouse to share information on best practices for planning and development of crisis standards of care."

Scientists discover natural flu-fighting proteins

CHICAGO-U.S. researchers have discovered antiviral proteins in cells that naturally fight off influenza infections, a finding that may lead to better ways to make vaccines and protect people against the flu.They said a family of genes act as cell sentries that guard cells from an invading influenza virus, the team reported on Thursday in the journal Cell.
"This prevents the virus from even getting into the cell," said Stephen Elledge of Harvard Medical School and a Howard Hughes Investigator at Brigham & Women's Hospital.
"It is out there fighting the flu all of the time," Elledge said in a telephone interview.
Elledge and colleagues used a new research technique called RNA interference in which they systematically turned off individual genes and then exposed cells to the flu virus.
Using this method, they discovered a small family of flu-fighting proteins called interferon-indicible transmembrane proteins that boost the body's natural resistance to viral infection.
"If you get rid of it (the protein), the virus can replicate 5 to 10 times faster. What that means is your cells have a mechanism that can block 80 to 90 percent of the virus that gets in," Elledge said.
They also showed that if they make the cell overproduce the protein, they become more resistant to the flu. "If you crank it up, it really shuts down the flu," he said...

SEOUL, South Korea-A convoy of South Korean trucks crossed the border into North Korea on Friday to deliver swine flu medicine, a day after Pyongyang threatened retaliation over naval drills around their disputed sea border.
The previously scheduled delivery across the heavily armed border came a day after North Korea threatened retaliation over what it claimed were South Korean naval drills around their disputed sea border, accusing Seoul of attempting to escalate tension.
The shipment marks the South Korean government's first humanitarian aid since conservative President Lee Myung-bak took office in early 2008 with a pledge to pursue a hard-line policy toward the North and hold it accountable to its nuclear disarmament pledges.
North Korea acknowledged for the first time last week that swine flu had broken out in the country after Seoul offered unconditional aid to help contain its spread. The North did not mention any virus-related deaths, but a Seoul-based civic group claimed that the disease had killed about 50 people in the North since early November.

Walgreen leads U.S. drugstores with H1N1 vaccine

CHICAGO-Walgreen Co has H1N1 flu shots in more states than other drugstores and aims to have national distribution of the vaccine by the end of December, a move that could give it a competitive edge in luring shoppers.
Walgreen, which operates Walgreens drugstores and Take Care clinics, is already offering the H1N1 vaccine at more than 1,500 locations in 27 U.S. states and Washington D.C. Rival CVS Caremark Corp is offering vaccinations against H1N1, or swine flu, in 20 states and Washington D.C. Administering more H1N1 vaccinations could be "very constructive," particularly for Walgreen, said Pali Capital analyst Robert Summers, who follows the drugstore industry.
"There's really only upside. It's probably just a matter of magnitude," Summers said. "You can take customers away from other operators with this type of initiative."
Walgreen has more than 17,000 workers approved to administer vaccinations. For now, it is only immunizing in less than 25 percent of its more than 7,140 stores...

Computer Generated Cartoon Peddles Dangerous Vaccine in Kansas

Kathleen Sebelius’ HHS has teamed up with Kansas governor Mark Parkinson to push the H1N1 vaccination on children in the state. In order to convince parents to get their children injected with the vaccine, the government has released a series of slick PSAs, including one featuring Parkinson and “Sid the Science Kid,” a character from the computer generated show on PBS produced by Jim Henson Productions.

In September, only 40 percent of parents said they would get their children vaccinated with the experimental drug. Among parents who do not plan to get their children vaccinated about half are worried about possible side effects of the vaccine.
“Vaccinations are the best way to protect our children from the H1N1 flu,” Parkinson declares in the PSA. “I say that not just as a Governor, but as a parent. The Department of Health and Human Services has done a great job of making H1N1 vaccines available throughout Kansas, but now it’s up to us to make sure our kids are vaccinated.”
Neither Parkinson or the animated character mention the fact the Novartis and GlaxoSmithKline vaccines are experimental and were not approved by the FDA. Earlier this year, the U.S. and Canada skipped all of the normally required safety and efficacy procedures and allowed for the massive testing of the novel adjuvant vaccine on thousands of paid clinical trial participants.
Numerous doctors have warned about the dangers of the H1N1 vaccination. In late September, Dr. Kent Holtorf told Fox News the vaccine would contain high levels of the adjuvant squalene and he advised against taking it. In August, investigative journalist Wayne Madsen told Russia Today scientists involved in creating previous vaccinations told family and friends not to take the H1N1 vaccine...

WASHINGTON-Vaccine maker Sanofi-Aventis SA.PA> is recalling four lots of its pediatric H1N1 swine flu vaccine because it is not as potent as it should be, U.S. officials said on Tuesday.
There is no safety concern and children vaccinated from the lots already will not need to be re-vaccinated, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said.
The affected vaccines are pre-filled syringes for children under age 3, the CDC said in a message to state and local health officers, public information officers and doctors' groups. A CDC spokesman said about 800,000 doses of vaccine from the lots had been distributed to providers.
The CDC said the four lots were discovered as part of a quality assurance testing program and that the company had also notified the U.S. Food and Drug Administration....

ATLANTA-Hundreds of thousands of swine flu shots for children have been recalled because tests indicate the vaccine doses lost some strength, government health officials said Tuesday.The shots, made by Sanofi Pasteur, were distributed across the country last month and most have already been used, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The 800,000 pre-filled syringes that were recalled are for young children, ages 6 months to nearly 3 years.
Dr. Anne Schuchat, a CDC flu expert, stressed that parents don't need to do anything or to worry if their child got one — or even two — of the recalled shots. The vaccine is safe and effective, she said.
The issue is the vaccine's strength. Tests done before the shots were shipped showed that the vaccines were strong enough. But tests done weeks later indicated the strength had fallen slightly below required levels.

A girl of two died of suspected swine flu the day after hospital doctors allegedly told her parents she had no illness and sent her home.Michelle Fernando, two, began showing symptoms a week after her mother was diagnosed with the virus in November. Her worried father took her to hospital but said medics sent them home, telling him to give the little girl Calpol and water. The next day Michelle stopped breathing and died. In a tragic twist of fate, it was the day ministers announced that under-fives would be vaccinated against swine flu.
Her mother Uthpala, 27, who lives with husband Rashid and their son Marlon, four, in Bristol, said Michelle would still be alive if she had not been sent home.
'We trusted the doctors but we don't any more,' she said yesterday. 'When Rashid took her to hospital, the doctors told him she had no illness.'Even when my husband explained I had swine flu, they didn't take it seriously.'
Michelle was taken to Bristol Children's Hospital after she stopped eating and was very weak.
Her parents claim doctors did not carry out a blood test or X-ray before sending her home, where her condition worsened.
Her parents were due to receive a report today, which will reveal if swine flu killed her.
They have made an official complaint. Health chiefs in Bristol said an inquiry has started....

Almost 500 people have adverse reaction to swine flu vaccine

ALMOST 500 people have developed suspected adverse reactions from the swine flu vaccine, new figures show.
At least 300,000 doses of the vaccine have been administered to date, but no serious safety issues have yet been identified, according to the Irish Medicines Board (IMB).
The most frequent adverse reactions have been fever, nausea, headache and allergic effects. These reports are consistent with the expected pattern of adverse reactions for the vaccines, according to the board.
The two versions of the vaccine – GlaxoSmithKline’s Pandemrix and Baxter’s Celvapan vaccine – have attracted similar numbers of suspected adverse reactions. The IMB says the balance of risks and benefits for both vaccines remain positive.
The general pattern of adverse reactions in Ireland is reflected across Europe where some 10 million people have been vaccinated against swine flu, according to the European Medicines Agency....

Administration pushes swine flu vaccines in ads

WASHINGTON – Pushing Americans to receive swine flu vaccinations, the Obama administration on Monday released a new slate of television and radio ads to counter an illness that already has infected millions.
The public service announcements target children and their parents, young adults and those in high-risk groups, such as people with asthma. The ads in English and Spanish come as a shortage of the vaccine is easing, with another 10 million doses expected to become available this week. The messages also are a shift from earlier efforts to teach Americans how to avoid spreading the illness, known also as H1N1.
Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius was announcing the new ads Monday.

California Schools Get 23 Million Masks to Curb H1N1

SANTA FE SPRINGS, Calif.-California schools will be getting millions of masks and gloves to block the spread of swine flu.
State schools chief Jack O'Connell on Friday announced that California has bought 23 million disposable masks and gloves for distribution to school districts around the state.
Children with symptoms of the H1N1 flu will be asked to wear a surgical mask while they are examined or kept in a sick room until their parents can arrive to take them home. The school nurse or other school staffer will wear a different style of mask and gloves to avoid exposure.
Federal grants paid for the items.
State health officials say there have been more than 7,200 cases of swine flu reported this year, including 366 deaths...

Maryland Reports First Drug Resistant H1N1 Cases

BALTIMORE-Maryland health officials are reporting the state's first two known cases of swine flu resistant to Tamiflu.
Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore announced Wednesday that the two patients were treated there and have been discharged.
The hospital says the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and Maryland health officials confirmed the patients had a drug-resistant form of the virus.
Last month, health officials in North Carolina announced four patients at a one hospital tested positive for Tamiflu-resistant swine flu, the biggest cluster seen in the U.S.
Tamiflu is one of two common swine flu treatments, and health officials have been watching for signs of resistance to the drugs. More than 50 resistant cases have been reported since April, including 21 in the U.S.

Tamiflu-resistant H1N1 viruses have not spread to hospital staff or beyond despite spreading among two clusters of patients in Britain and the United States the World Health Organization said.
Investigations to date showed that the resistant-form of swine flu was not transmitted outside of two hospital wards in Wales and North Carolina where they emerged in October and November, the WHO said in statement issued overnight.
A total of a dozen patients, all with severely suppressed immune systems due to underlying medical conditions, were infected with H1N1 viruses resistant to oseltamivir, the generic name for Roche's Tamiflu.
"Transmission of resistant virus from one patient to another is suspected in both outbreaks," the WHO said.
"No illness in staff caring for these patients has been detected, suggesting that the resistant virus does not spread easily to otherwise healthy people, especially when good measures for infection control are in place."
All 8 patients in Wales were hospitalized because of severe blood disorders, which severely weakened their immune systems, according to the United Nations agency. All are alive, including one being treated in intensive care...

Swine flu numbers ease off:Levels still surpass peak of a regular flu season, and officials predict new surge then

Swine flu cases have declined in the Charlotte area after reaching a peak about two weeks ago. But health officials expect another wave when the additional threat of seasonal flu takes hold in winter.
"We're pleased that we seem to be on the back end of a wave of illness," said Dr. Roger Ray, chief medical officer for Carolinas HealthCare System.
"But we don't want to give any sense that the risk is over. ... The typical flu season, January and February, is coming, and that could be rough."

Mutated Virus Now Confirmed And Infecting Norway and Eastern Europe

The World Health Organization has stated that the H1N1 flu appears to have peaked in several countries around world, but it was moving rapidly east and north while a confirmed mutation is now threatening Norway and Eastern Europe.
Norway reported finding a mutated virus in three people who died or were severely ill. The mutation allowed the virus to grow deeper in the lungs.The mutation (called D222G) allows the virus to bind to receptors on cells lining the lungs, which are slightly different from those in the nose and throat.
Virologist Dmitri Tarasov stated "it is likely the exact same strain seen in fatal cases in the Ukraine, which means we can expect a similar case fatality rate in Norway, unless its replication rate has increased."
Tarasov suggested that the number of Ukraine fatalities have been grossly miscalculated by the World Health Organization (WHO). "The number of deaths simply do not correlate statistically with the infection rates observed."
The pneumonic plague observed in the Ukraine was quoted by some experts as being a new strain of flu many times more lethal than H1N1.
A recent calculation presented possible scenarios if the same mutated virus found in the Ukraine were to spread to Norway and other countries...

After infected cases double again in the Ukraine plague approaching the 1 million mark, the World Health Organization (WHO) is holding back gene sequences which could provide evidence of the mutation or recombination of the H1N1 or novel virus.
The numbers of cases from the latest update from Ukraine total 910, 640 hospitalized and Influenza cases (including acute respiratory illess). A total of 135 people have die according to official statistics.
More than half of the Oblasts and cities listed exceed the epidemic threshold, including Kiev and Kiev Oblast, raising concerns that the increase in case numbers will accelerate. Moreover, hospitalization of 39,603 raises concerns that the number of deaths will also accelerate.
Although the WHO has suggested that these alarming numbers may reflect sub-standard medical and housing conditions, the transmission rates suggest something far more alarming.
However, because the virus already has demonstrated an ability to cause fatal infections in a disproportionate number of children and previously healthy adults, small changes in the virus could lead to increases in viral load leading to an increase in cytokine storm frequency and hemorrhagic pneumonia, as reported for earlier cases.
The first deputy minister of Health in Ukraine said in a statement that they have a different H1N1 swine flu than the rest of the world, but no confirmed evidence has been released from the WHO....

Biohazard and H5N1 sign fear mongering in Jacksonville, North Carolina, USA

A sign spotted near Jacksonville , North Carolina, USA - says "Preparing makes sense, get ready now". The sign is causing a bit of controversy because in the first place it does not have H1N1 on it but the H5N1 which is bird flue. The sign also has a "biohazard" sign on it which has nothing to do with toxic waste, the second sign is a "evacuation route" sign that they use their incase of hurricanes.
The other thing people wonder about is why does this sign show in that area but the Jones County department does not cover that area. That is a minor issue. The real issue is what are they warning against? If they wanted to warn against swine flu they would of used H1N1.
In the sign business a sign like that will cost a few dollars to make and the space rented to put up the sign will also cost a few decent dollars so the excuse cant be that the design looks like that, either they are uneducated or they want to hype and drive fear in people.
Why are they showing a evacuation sign? Do they want people to be prepared to "evacuate"...?

Swine Flu Outbreak Sparks Mutation Fears

More than 80 people have died in Ukraine in the last two weeks and there have been 450,000 cases of respiratory illness.
The World Health Organisation has sent an emergency team to monitor the epidemic and says it assumes most of the illness in the country has been caused by H1N1 swine flu.
The Ukrainian government has closed schools and universities for three weeks, and many public events have been banned.
President Viktor Yushchenko said experts fear the simultaneous existence of three types of flu viruses within the country "may lead to the emergence of an even more aggressive new virus".
The WHO team of nine experts dispatched samples from infected patients for examination at the World Influenza Centre at Mill Hill, in London.
"Many questions remain to be answered," the organisation said in a statement.
"The outbreak in Ukraine may be indicative of how the virus can behave in the northern hemisphere during the winter season, particularly in health care settings typically found in Eastern Europe."
The epidemic is concentrated in the west of the country, which has borders with four European Union states, but a growing number of cases are being reported in the capital Kiev.

Hospital masks and anti-bacterial hand gel vanished from shelves in the Gaza Strip as fear gripped the besieged Hamas-ruled territory after the first deaths of swine flu.
A well-known surgeon, Dr. Mahmud al-Haddad, 35, was the fourth in two days to die of the A(H1N1) virus after the first cases were confirmed on Sunday, according to a Gaza medical official who spoke on condition of anonymity.
Medics have so far confirmed 19 out of 40 suspected cases of the disease, the official said. Haddad was among four patients who were transferred to Israel for treatment on Monday.

First swine flu deaths reported in Gaza

A baby and two women have died in Hamas-run Gaza after contracting swine flu, the first deaths from the virus in the densely populated Palestinian territory, officials said on Monday.
Hassan Khalaf, a spokesman for the Hamas health ministry, declined to give details, but said there were four new cases on Monday of people infected with the disease in the Gaza Strip.
Khalaf added, however, that the condition of three of five people who had been confirmed on Sunday as having the virus was improving.

George Anter knows he has a lot to be thankful for during the holidays.
The heart he received during a transplant procedure 12 years ago, for which he gives thanks every day, continues to do its job.
He has won bouts with prostate and skin cancer, and his non-Hodgkins lymphoma remains under control with chemotherapy.
His four children and four grandchildren are thriving in their careers and in school.
And in December, Anter and his wife, Madeline, will celebrate their 53rd wedding anniversary.
But as grateful as he is, the 74-year-old Anter admits one thing will be bugging him during the holidays.
"The truth is," the retired paper sales executive said last week, "when I think about not being able to get a swine flu shot, I get real pissed off."
Two months after H1N1 flu vaccine was first distributed to public health districts around the country, people 65 and older with serious medical conditions still can't get vaccinated.
Anter's doctors at Stanford University Hospital, where he received his transplant, tell him he has a compromised immune system and "the H1N1 flu could do me in."
He takes at least nine prescription medications daily to stay alive.
"But when I try to get a shot, I'm told I'm too old " he said as he sat in the study of his Peccole Ranch home.
"I feel that they see me and other older people as garbage and are just waiting for the trucks to come pick us up," Anter said.
"I served my country. I enlisted during the Korean War. You don't treat people this way just because they're older."

FDA approves new flu vaccine

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration said Friday it has approved a new vaccine to prevent seasonal influenza.
Agriflu, made by Novartis Vaccines and Diagnostics, is not intended to protect against the H1N1 virus, commonly known as swine flu.
The vaccine was approved using an accelerated approval process, the FDA said. Novartis demonstrated that the vaccine induces levels of antibodies in the blood that are effective in preventing seasonal influenza, but it still needs to conduct further studies.
Agriflu, for ages 18 and older, is administered as a single injection in the upper arm and is available in single-dose, prefilled syringes, according to the FDA.
Novartis produces another licensed vaccine for seasonal influenza, Fluvirin, approved for ages 4 and older.
Although no vaccine is 100 percent effective in preventing disease, vaccination is the key to flu prevention, according to the FDA...

Novartis opens new flu vaccine plant in U.S

HOLLY SPRINGS, North Carolina-The bioreactors are empty and running just for show for now, but Novartis opened its first U.S. flu vaccine plant on Tuesday, the first in the country to make flu vaccines out of cells instead of eggs.
Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius toured the plant, whose cell-based technology is designed to be cleaner, quicker and more predictable than the current way most influenza vaccines are made using eggs and will help alleviate the U.S. dependence on imported vaccines.

Flu levels off in parts of Canada, officials say

U.S. sees rise in secondary infections after flu

WASHINGTON-U.S. health officials said on Wednesday they are seeing a worrying pattern of serious bacterial infections in swine flu patients, mostly among younger adults not normally vulnerable to them.
The pattern is typical of pandemics such as the current H1N1 pandemic but shows the need for patients and doctors to keep an eye out for the infections and treat them quickly, Dr. Anne Schuchat of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention told reporters.

China expert warns of pandemic flu mutation

Ukrainian Black Lung Deaths Doubling Every Two Weeks Throughout Europe

Bloomberg: Across the region, 670 people infected with the new H1N1 influenza strain have died since April, the Stockholm-based ECDC said today in a report on its Web site. Cases are being reported in all European Union and European Free Trade Association countries, ECDC said.
The infection, which causes little more than a sore throat, fever and a cough in the majority of cases, has hospitalized more than 4,400 people in Europe to date. Among those, the U.K. has 180 H1N1 patients in intensive care units, France has 81, the Netherlands 38, Norway 24 and Ireland 20, ECDC said....

Hold Off On Calling This Pandemic Overblown or “A Dud” Just Yet

In the last few weeks, the mainstream media has really started to jump on the alternative media’s bandwagon. They’ve highlighted wasted government investments in pandemic planning, mass vaccinations and even questioned a flu hype that never materialized. The fatality rate of the virus in the Ukraine has been estimated by infectious disease experts to be between 0.5% to 0.7% and possibly growing. Scientist Warned Baxter Would Release Plague in Ukraine

Bio-scientist Joseph Moshe who was arrested by the FBI tried to warn the public about Baxter’s sinister plan to release a plague in the Ukraine by creating a vaccine bio-weapon that would result in hundreds of deaths.

That is precisely what occurred in the Ukraine, a plague infected 1.5 million people, over 80,000 being hospitalized and leaving 328 dead. The WHO(World Health Organization) claims that the virus running through Ukraine is nothing more than the same A/H1N1 influenza experienced around the world and that it’s not pheumonic plague. Many suspect that this is a bacterial pheumonic plague that is ten-times worse than swine flu influenza that is spread from person-to-person. Reports from the infected say that their lungs tend to have a burning sensation turning them as “black as charcoal”.

Joseph Moshe is a bio-scientist working for a unit within Mossad and had dual national (Israeli-American) citizenship, Moshe was later seized for blowing the whistle on Baxter International contacting a radio show and the White House, warning them of the pharmaceutical companies’ plot to spread a plague from Baxter’s Ukrainian lab. He knew the FBI was bugging his house, so he decided to pack up his things and head for the Israeli consulate where he was met by armed LAPD/SWAT, FBI and the Secret Service surrounding his car. He was pepper-sprayed, tasered and is now being held in the Patton State mental hospital in California, his next court date is December 25, 2010.
What is not certain yet is how this disease was released to the public, it’s certainly not natural. According to local newspapers hundreds of phone calls from Kiev residents and business owners close to the area where it was reported that planes and helicopters spraying “aerosolized medication” over the city during the time-frame between October 28 – October 30, 2009. Not only that but local businesses and retailers were “advised” to stay indoors during the day by the local authorities.
As if that is not enough, the government authorities also pushed the radio stations in Kiev to deny the reports. Online on forums, websites and blogs reports came in about eye witness accounts that confirms this. There was also reports of helicopters spraying aerosols not just over Kiev but Lviv, Ternopil and throughout Ukraine. The spraying was vehemently denied by the country’s Office of Emergency Response. This takes me back to when reports surfaced about gelatin-like rain pouring down over a small town of Oakville, Washington. The gelatinous like substance contained live bacteria that made an entire town sick for months.

This is a lot like what happened in the Ukraine, and is the likelier scenario on how this infection was spread. A bacterial pneumonic plague is of course much more virulent and lethal than the ordinary A-influenza virus that is spread from person-to-person via viral shedding.
Regardless of how this infection was spread, it should always be taken into account that that governments have been using their own populations as their own experimental lab for decades. It always seems to lead back to the military, government and big pharma using us for their own megalomaniacal reasons, the mainstream media is used to hype up the fear to sell vaccines.

European scientists and health authorities are facing angry questions about why H1N1 flu has not caused death and destruction on the scale first feared, and they need to respond deftly to ensure public support.

Doctors say most Britons reject swine flu vaccine

LONDON-More than half of Britons being offered vaccination against pandemic H1N1 flu are turning it down because they fear side-effects or think the virus is too mild to bother, a survey of doctors showed on Wednesday.
Many of the 107 family doctors polled by Britain's Pulse magazine said there was widespread resistance from patients and on average only 46 percent of those offered the vaccination agree to have it.

LONDON-British health officials are investigating the likely person-to-person spread of a drug-resistant strain of swine flu, the Health Protection Agency said on Friday.
There have been five confirmed cases in Wales of patients infected with H1N1 resistant to oseltamivir -- the generic name of Roche AG (ROG.VX) and Gilead Sciences Inc's (GILD.O) antiviral drug Tamiflu, the agency said.
Four other patients are infected with H1N1 with the same genetic mutation but one was helped by Tamiflu and the status of three others is not clear. Another antiviral, GlaxoSmithKline (GSK.L) and Biota Inc's (BTA.AX) Relenza, was effective in the patients, the HPA said.
The patients had serious conditions that suppressed their immune systems, which can give the virus a better than usual opportunity to develop resistance, the HPA added.

GENEVA-H1N1 swine flu is on the rise in China and Japan after triggering an unusually early start to the winter influenza season in Europe, Central Asia and North America, the World Health Organization said on Friday.
According to the U.N. agency's latest official toll, which is thought to underestimate the total spread of the virus, at least 6,071 people worldwide have died as a result of an H1N1 infection since its discovery earlier this year in Mexico and the United States.
Some 359 deaths were recorded in the past week, which saw a big outbreak in Ukraine as well as ongoing spread of the virus across the northern hemisphere.
"Intense and persistent influenza transmission continues to be reported in North America without evidence of a peak in activity," the WHO said in its latest update.
"In China, after an earlier wave of mixed influenza activity (seasonal H3N2 and pandemic H1N1), pandemic H1N1 influenza activity now predominates and is increasing."

GENEVA-The H1N1 flu is moving eastwards across Europe and Asia after appearing to peak in parts of western Europe and the United States, the World Health Organization (WHO) said on Friday.
At least 6,770 deaths have been recorded worldwide since the swine flu virus emerged in April, according to the latest WHO update which showed 520 known fatalities in the past week.
There are "early signs of a peak in disease activity in some areas of the northern hemisphere," the WHO said in a statement.
H1N1 flu is still widespread across the United States although it appears to have recently peaked in most areas except the northeast. But transmission continues to intensify in Canada, with the highest number of doctor visits by children.
Spread of the flu appears to have peaked in western European countries including Belgium, Britain, Iceland and Ireland after a period of intense outbreaks, the United Nations agency said.

China vows to punish H1N1 death cover-ups

BEIJING-China has promised severe punishment for officials caught concealing deaths from H1N1 swine flu after a medical expert said suspect cases may have been held back by local governments.
The Health Ministry said China had adopted a new H1N1 accounting method earlier this month. If a person was confirmed with H1N1 and then died, the case should be reported as death from H1N1, whether or not there was another condition.
"People responsible will be punished if reports of H1N1 virus cases are held back, lied about or delayed," said Deng Haihua, spokesman for China's Health Ministry, according to a notice on the ministry's website (www.moh.gov.cn) seen on Friday.
Zhong Nanshan, respected by many in China for his candour and work fighting Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) in 2003, said he did not believe the national H1N1 death toll of 53, the Southern Metropolis Daily reported on Thursday.
Zhong, who heads the Guangzhou Institute of Respiratory Diseases in southern China, said that "some areas have not been testing deaths from severe (pneumonia) and treating them as cases of ordinary pneumonia without any question".
The World Health Organisation does not have a standard for which deaths to attribute to H1N1, although it does define how to diagnose cases, spokeswoman Vivian Tan said from Beijing.

Swine flu may be peaking in U.S.

WASHINGTON-The pandemic of swine flu may be hitting a peak in the United States, health experts said on Friday.
But they stressed that influenza, especially a pandemic, could hit several peaks in a single season. They said weeks or months more of disease could be expected.
"We are beginning to see some declines in flu activity around the country but there is still a lot of influenza," the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's Dr. Anne Schuchat told a news conference.

Norwegian scientists raise concerns about mutated form of swine flu

Scientists in Norway have identified a mutated form of the swine flu virus that is raising concern because it was found in two patients who died of the flu and a third who was severely ill with the disease, officials announced Friday.

Aspirin kills 400% more people than H1N1 swine flu

The CDC now reports that nearly 4,000 Americans have been killed by H1N1 swine flu. This number is supposed to sound big and scary, motivating millions of people to go out and pay good money to be injected with untested, unproven H1N1 vaccines. But let’s put the number in perspective: Did you know that more than four times as many people are killed each year by common NSAID painkillers like aspirin?
The July 1998 issue of The American Journal of Medicine explains it as follows:

When the nation's swine flu vaccination program began in early October, health officials predicted it was going to be "messy." They were right.
The program has been plagued with problems and information gaps:
— Health officials have been terrible at predicting when and how much vaccine would be available. Only about 44 million doses have been shipped so far. Initially, officials said more than three times that would be out by now.
— At times vaccine shipments have been inexplicably lopsided. For example, smaller counties in Illinois and California have received the same amount delivered to counties with seven times as many people.

Tamiflu-resistant swine flu cluster reported in NC

ATLANTA – Four North Carolina patients at a single hospital tested positive for a type of swine flu that is resistant to Tamiflu, health officials said Friday.
The cases reported at Duke University Medical Center over six weeks make up the biggest cluster seen so far in the U.S.
Tamiflu — made by Switzerland's Roche Group — is one of two flu medicines that help against swine flu, and health officials have been closely watching for signs that the virus is mutating, making the drugs ineffective.
More than 50 resistant cases have been reported in the world since April, including 21 in the U.S. Almost all in the U.S. were isolated, said officials with the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention....

The BBC reported another cluster of five Tamiflu-resistant cases this week in Wales, in the United Kingdom.
The CDC has sent three disease investigators to North Carolina to help in the investigation there, said Dave Daigle, a CDC spokesman. CDC testing confirmed the Tamiflu-resistant cases.
All four cases at the hospital were very ill patients in an isolated cancer unit on the hospital's ninth floor, and it is believed they all caught the flu while at the hospital, said Dr. Daniel Sexton, professor of medicine and director of the Duke Infection Control Outreach Network....

Military Study Shows Prevention of Novel A/H1N1 Virus Infection is Vaccine-Type and Age-Dependent

WASHINGTON-PRNewswire/--Immunization with either live attenuated influenza vaccine (LAIV, also known as FluMist®), or trivalent inactivated influenza vaccine (TIV), appears to offer a protection (~ 45%) against the novel A/H1N1 virus, the cause of the present influenza pandemic. However, the benefit was largely attributed to the youngest age group. The finding emerges from an evaluation of medical encounters and seasonal influenza immunization of U.S. military service members.

Surgical masks appear to be no worse than, and nearly as effective as N95 respirators in preventing influenza in health care workers, according to a study released early online today by JAMA. The study was posted online ahead of print because of its public health implications. It will be published in the November 4 issue of JAMA.
Influenza is the most important cause of medically attended acute respiratory illness worldwide and the authors write there is heightened concern this year because of the influenza pandemic due to the H1N1 virus. GENEVA-The World Health Organization said on Thursday the H1N1 vaccine had been cleared of blame for 41 deaths which health authorities worldwide had investigated after suspicions they might have been caused by the inoculation.
The U.N. agency reaffirmed that the pandemic vaccine is as safe as the seasonal flu vaccine used for more than 60 years. It also voiced concern that some pregnant women and others at risk were shunning it because of a fear of side-effects.
"No new safety issue has been identified from reports issued to date ... Reporting so far reconfirms that the pandemic flu vaccine is as safe as the seasonal flu vaccine," Marie-Paule Kieny, WHO's top vaccine expert, told a telephone conference.

Number of flu cases in Japan estimated at over 9 milions+...

TOKYO-The number of people in Japan who have contracted influenza since early July, most of whom are believed to have been infected with the H1N1 virus, is estimated to have reached 9.02 million by last Sunday, the National Institute of Infectious Diseases said Friday.
The total number of people suffering from influenza who visited hospitals across the country during the week through last Sunday was estimated at 1.64 million people, up 110,000 from the previous week.
The number of flu patients reported in the week by roughly 5,000 designated medical institutions across Japan rose from 157,626 to 169,095, the institute said.
The institute's report for the previous week, released Nov. 13, showed a decline in the number of flu cases, apparently because most of the medical institutions were closed Nov. 3, a national holiday...

Reports of pneunomic plague deaths in Poland

Reports are coming in of people dying of symptoms similar to the pneunomic plague in an Emergency Room in Bialystok in the north east of Poland.
A doctor reported treating three patients with symptoms similar to the pneumonic plague, including burned lungs. One the patients died in his arms. The doctor said that it appeared be a bacterial infection and that no antibiotics worked. He also thought it could be a more virulent strain of the swine flu.
The victims came from small villages close to Bialystok.
Low flying aircraft were heard in the region a few nights ago.
Cases similar to the pneumonic plague have also be reported in Lithuania, close to the Polish border and to Bialystok.
The appearance of something resembling the pneumonic plague in Poland shortly after low flying aircraft made carried out unexplained missions during the night time in the same area has parallels with the recent incident in the Ukraine.
Witnesses reported low flying planes carrying out aerosol spraying shortly before the pneumonic plague was diagnosed in victims a few days later.
The Ukrainian government and WHO moved swiftly to declare the swine flu virus had mutated to become more dangerous and implement martial law.

"My friend a doctor who works in Emergency Room in Bialystok (Eastern North of Poland) called me saying that he had 3 cases of patients with symptoms similar to the pneumonic plague. “If it is h1n1, so it means that it has changed for very virulent form and it kills in matter of hours”. However, a little known fact was that most places were not actually testing for swine flu. When I heard this, I was suspicious of whether there really was an outbreak of swine flu on campus, but there was just no data one way or the other. They found that most of their patients with flu-like symptoms had a cold, not swine flu.

Runny nose, fever, cough, even pneumonia — the symptoms sound like swine flu but children hospitalized at one U.S. hospital in fact had a rhinovirus, better known as a common cold virus, doctors said on Tuesday.
Hundreds of children treated at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia had a rhinovirus, and federal health investigators are trying to find out if it was a new strain, and if this is going on elsewhere in the country.
"What began to happen in early September is we started seeing more children coming to our emergency room with significant respiratory illness," said Dr. Susan Coffin, medical director of infection control and prevention at the hospital.
Doctors and parents assumed it was the new pandemic H1N1 swine flu, which would be expected to re-emerge as schools began in September. But it was not, Coffin said in a telephone interview.
The hospital, unlike most hospitals in the United States, runs a test that can diagnose 10 different respiratory viruses, including influenza but also rhinoviruses, parainfluenza viruses and other germs that make kids sick.
"The data showed us it wasn't H1N1 but instead was this rhinovirus infection," Coffin said.
Usually rhinoviruses cause an annoying but benign illness that looks a lot like flu, but with more runny nose and usually less of a fever. This one was causing severe symptoms and even pneumonia...

Niman’s map of the spread of alleged H1N1 Swine Flu since April has given the WHO, the US Government and CNN and major media a convenient graphic to create the image of a new type of “bubonic plague” threatening mankind unless we react with massive doses of untested vaccines from Big Pharma. .

Novartis Says Lower H1N1 Vaccine Dose May Suffice

A U.S. clinical study suggests that just half a dose of the Novartis AG H1N1 vaccine may be enough to generate a protective immune response, the Swiss drugmaker said on Tuesday.
Novartis said data from about 4,000 individuals suggested that half a dose of its U.S.-approved unadjuvanted H1N1 vaccine met immune criteria in adults and the elderly.
The data also showed that its adjuvant was well tolerated, which could potentially quadruple the Novartis vaccine supply.
Adjuvanted vaccines contain an additive to boost the immune system response and need less of the active ingredient than the unadjuvanted types approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
U.S. health officials have been scrambling to get the swine flu vaccine to market after the virus emerged too late to be included in this year's regular seasonal flu version.
Initially, officials said there would be enough for everyone, but the public quickly grew frustrated when supplies ran short.
The FDA has approved H1N1 vaccine from five makers who already produce seasonal flu vaccine — GlaxoSmithKline Plc, AstraZeneca Plc's MedImmune unit, Novartis, Sanofi-Aventis, and CSL Limited.

Had the Flu..? You May Have Some H1N1 Protection

People who have had repeated flu infections — or repeated flu vaccines — may have some protection against the new pandemic swine influenza, U.S. researchers said on Monday.
They found evidence that the human immune system can recognize bits of the new H1N1 virus that are similar to older, distantly related H1N1 strains.
"What we have found is that the swine flu has similarities to the seasonal flu, which appear to provide some level of pre-existing immunity. This suggests that it could make the disease less severe in the general population than originally feared," said Alessandro Sette, director of the Center for Infectious Disease at California's La Jolla Institute.
The study, published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, may also help explain why many older people are less likely to have severe disease, said Allison Deckhut-Augustine of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases.

We know that in mid-October, less than a month ago, there was a growing number of cases of what many thought was Swine Flu (A/H1N1) in the western part of the Ukraine. We know that many hundreds if not thousands of people in western Ukraine witnessed low flying light airplanes aerosol spraying something over Ukrainian cities during the days of October 29, 2009 and October 31, 2009. We know that beginning the night of October 29th, massive numbers of people begin to get very sick. We know that the Ukraine government issued a statement denying that it was doing any aerial spraying to combat the growing disease or authorizing any spraying over Ukrainian cities. We know that by October 30th, the Ukrainian authorities closed all schools for three weeks and banded public gatherings.
We do NOT know what disease the people were/are coming down with. We do know that doctors are describing the disease as Pneumonic Plague, or as some type of hemorrhagic fever, or as hemorrhagic influenza, or as hemorrhagic pneumonia. We know that the illness, whatever it is, does not appear to be A/H1N1. We do not know if the disease is a recombination of A/H1N1 with other viruses or some totally different virus or if it is in fact a virus. We know that the World Health Organization (WHO) has had several days to sequence the genes of the disease but has failed to release this data.
We know that WHO has NOT called for the quarantining of the Ukraine or the shutdown of all global travel to/from the area of infection and that this is the same thing that they did when Mexican Swine Flu (A/H1N1) first broke out and that the failure to contain that virus early on ensured its spread throughout the world.
We know that the internal temperature of the lungs of those with a terminal case of what many are calling ‘Ukrainian Plague’ is often from 130F to 135F. We do know that autopsies show that the lungs are filled with blood, and are black in color, and that the lung tissue has turned to mush. We know that patients who first show any signs of illness usually crash in less than 48 hours, sometimes the same day...

Low Vitamin D Levels Linked To Proliferation of H1N1

According to a recent study, as many as 77 percent of all Americans may be deficient in the vitamin essential for bone health and which may prevent H1N1 (Swine Flu) and seasonal flu, wheezing, winter-related eczema, upper respiratory infections and may help prevent cancer, autoimmune diseases such as multiple sclerosis, Type 1 diabetes, certain infectious diseases, myocardial infarctions – heart attacks – and many other serious diseases.
When subgroups of the population are considered, depending on which of the many reasonable definitions of deficiency are accepted, the picture is even more ominous. We’re talking about vitamin D, also called the sunshine vitamin and often considered the nutrient of the year, if not the decade. Online gangs cash in on swine flu

LONDON-Criminal gangs are making millions of dollars out of the H1N1 flu pandemic by selling fake flu drugs over the internet, a web security firm said on Monday.
Sophos, a British security software firm said it had intercepted hundreds of millions of fake pharmaceutical spam adverts and websites this year, many of them trying to sell counterfeit antiviral drugs like Tamiflu to worried customers.
Tamiflu, an antiviral marketed by Switzerland's Roche Holding and known generically as oseltamivir, is the frontline drug recommended by the World Health Organization to treat and slow the progression of flu symptoms. GlaxoSmithKline makes another antiviral for flu, known as Relenza.
Sophos said many of the gangs behind the sites were based in Russia and the top five countries buying fake Tamiflu and other medicines on the internet were the United States, Germany, Britain, Canada and France.
Sophos spokesman Graham Cluley said a "worrying trend" toward stockpiling Tamiflu had already been seen in Britain -- Europe's worst-hit country in the H1N1 pandemic so far.
"As more and more cases of swine flu....come to light, it is essential that we all resist the panic-induced temptation to purchase Tamiflu online," he said.
"The criminal gangs working behind the scenes at fake internet pharmacies are putting their customers' health, personal information and credit card details at risk."

In a church ceremony dedicated to St Martin, father’s Bustruk statement caused an avalanche of reactions in Croatia.

In defense of his colleague stood Don Jure Zubovik who said father Bustruk’s statement only defended the Church, adding – “certain people who have spoken out or warned against the vaccine are already in jail”.
