LONDON-The Ministry of Defense is to offer swine flu vaccinations for all its troops in Afghanistan to prevent a major outbreak of the virus among frontline forces, an official statement said Thursday.The initiative is part of efforts to protect priority groups against the A(H1N1) virus, said an MoD statement."Recognising the uniquely challenging task facing our troops in Afghanistan, frontline troops will be offered the jab to protect against a major outbreak of swine flu," it said.The vaccination programme would also help "maintain the numbers of troops available to commanders," the ministry added....
